Who we are and what this policy covers

This website is operated by 听流健康科技（上海）有限公司, a company registered in China, using the brand UroFlow Health (听流健康). In this policy, ‘we’ refers to this company, which is responsible for the personal information it processes in connection with the website and enquiries.

This policy covers the company website, email enquiries and information we handle through our WeChat official account. It does not cover a future UroFlow Health app, device, clinical study or patient service; any such service will have its own applicable privacy information before collecting personal information.

Email enquiries

This website does not provide a website enquiry form or user accounts. Selecting an email link opens your email application; sending a message uses your email service. The copy-email button only copies our public email address to your clipboard.

If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any name, organisation, contact details or attachments you choose to include, together with normal email delivery information. We use information necessary to read and respond to your enquiry and maintain the related correspondence. Email services involved in sending and receiving the message also process it.

We process personal information with your consent where required, or on another basis permitted by applicable law, such as fulfilling a legal obligation or processing necessary to enter into or perform a contract to which you are a party. Visiting the website does not constitute consent to unrelated processing or marketing. You can browse without sending an enquiry.

WeChat official account

The QR code is a local image on this website, with no embedded WeChat SDK or tracking service. Viewing or saving the image does not by itself follow the account or send us a message. Scanning it and using WeChat involves WeChat's own platform services and privacy practices.

If you follow or message our official account, we may receive account or profile information made available to us through WeChat and the message contents or attachments you choose to send. We use the information necessary to respond to your enquiry and maintain the related correspondence. We are responsible for our handling of information received through the account; WeChat's platform policies do not replace our responsibilities under this policy.

Following the account does not consent to unrelated processing. You may unfollow it through WeChat, and you may contact info@uroflowhealth.com to exercise your rights regarding information we handle. Please do not send patient records, urination recordings or other sensitive health information through the account.

Website operation and tracking

To deliver pages, maintain availability and protect the website, hosting and security services may process technical request information such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and response or error status. This is separate from the information you choose to send by email or WeChat.

The website application does not set advertising or analytics cookies, enable marketing trackers, or save enquiry information in browser storage. Language selection uses the page URL. The website does not access your microphone or camera; the product screens and charts are illustrations, not a recording or measurement service.

We use Tencent Cloud's Shanghai region for website hosting and Tencent enterprise email for info@uroflowhealth.com. WeChat provides the platform for our official account. These names identify the services used; information processing also depends on the particular service and the way you contact us.

Website hosting, security and email providers may process information needed to supply their services. Where they act on our behalf, we require processing to be limited to the agreed purpose and subject to applicable confidentiality and security obligations. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.

We disclose information when required by applicable law or a lawful request from a competent authority, limiting the disclosure to what is required. Other disclosures that require notice or consent will be handled accordingly.

If you follow a research or other external link, the destination website processes your visit under its own privacy policy. Your chosen email service also has its own privacy practices.

Retention, protection and transfers

We limit retention to the shortest period necessary for the stated purpose, unless law requires otherwise. Enquiry emails, WeChat messages and related information are retained while the enquiry and any related ongoing discussion need them; when those purposes end, they are deleted or anonymised unless an applicable legal obligation or a specific unresolved dispute requires continued retention. This is an informational company website, not a patient portal. Please do not send medical records, urination recordings, identifying patient information or other sensitive health information. We do not request this information for general or collaboration enquiries. If we receive such unnecessary information, we will restrict its handling and promptly delete it, unless retention is legally required, in which case handling will be limited to what the law permits. You may also contact us to request deletion.

The website is intended for a general professional audience and does not offer services directed at children under 14 or request their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact us to arrange appropriate handling or deletion.
